Wrath of God? Of Which
God?
God hath NOT
appointed us to wrath: 1Thessalonians 5:9
Allegory: Grace
(understanding)
hasn't appointed us to law (ignorance)
Of
Law vs Grace, the "Law
worketh Wrath":
Romans 4:15
There's no wrath in merciful
God: "the God of all grace".
There is no dis-comfort at all in "the God of all comfort".
Law
(wrath) vs Grace (salvation) Allegory:
God hath NOT appointed us to
wrath (law),
but to obtain salvation (grace): 1Thess 5:9
Wrath of
God? Law worketh wrath. God worketh Grace -> Mercy -> Peace
Wrath of God? Wrath(punishment,
destruction, death) from merciful God:
perfect love? It just doesn't compute.
Rather such "wrath of God" is an oxymoron, for wrath and mercy are contrary things
which only mix to make an oxymoron. So wrath "of God" is not of "that God" (of
this/that
Gods); Not of the
only wise God (of foolish/wise
Gods);
Not of the
only true God (of false/true Gods); Not of
"the living God" (of dead/living Gods); Not of the God of all grace
(is no law at
all); Not of that God is light(only), no darkness at all. To wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world.
God is
constructive, not destructive. Law is destructive, not constructive.
People often blame
God our Father for such destructive things as hurricanes, tornadoes,
earthquakes, and floods which often leave innocent children harmed or
dead. They call such destructive things an 'act of God'. Vain words.
For JC said God said: "I am not come to destroy(law),
but to fulfil(grace)". Such things are an allegory (Galatians
4:24), written aforetime for our learning
(Romans 15:4).
Wrath of
God? God hath not appointed us to wrath!
When a biblical study
of "wrath" is done, it's associated with "them"(Adam:
Gen 5), also called "children of disobedience", who speak "vain
words", which brings wrath
upon all, both the just(us) and the unjust(them), and in diverse
places. It is
'also' written(told): "God hath not appointed us to wrath(law),
but to obtain salvation(grace)". So we
may conclude, especially from a comparison of 1Thess 5:3 & 5:9,
wrath is appointed to "them" who say Peace & safety in Law, not to "us", of
them/us. Hence it reasons the Lord is longsuffering to "us-ward", so that none perish.
Law
worketh Wrath. True God worketh Grace Mercy Peace.
Law
worketh wrath
(Romans 4:15). Hence
allegoric biblical mention of the "wrath of God" may safely be
allegorized as the 'wrath of Law'; For you won't ever get any
wrath at all out of a "merciful" God such as "the God of all grace" is.
Wrath of
God is only plausible when Law worketh Wrath is given place.
Adding "law worketh wrath" to "my grace
is sufficient for thee"(no
law at all req'd) only makes the oxymoronic mixture of contrary
things: His grace("is")
+ law("added"), which is as blessed + cursed = accursed(Gal
1:9), and as life + death = a dead end (for all). There is no
respect of persons with God. A little leaven leaveneth the whole. So
until all get it: understanding,
the vain words of some brings
wrath on all: both the just and the unjust; So it becomes evident it's
a global matter:
life or
death.
Wrath of
God vs God hath not appointed us to wrath
God hath not appointed us to
wrath, but to obtain
salvation
by Jesus
Christ. In "which
things are an allegory", and a keyword in such a verse is "obtain"; For
when coming boldly (on
behalf of all, not some only) to
a throne of grace (Heb
4), we "obtain" mercy (for all). For if
"there is no respect of persons with God", mercy for some only is not
even plausible. Yet if "a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump", vain
words of some can and will bring wrath upon all, till "we all are one" get it: understanding.
