Grace
unto you, and peace (rest, not divisions),
from God
our
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ
Mind not
high things. Be not high minded x2.
Romans 11:20 - 22 (KJV): Be
not highminded:
Be
not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches,
[take heed] lest
he also spare not
thee. Behold
therefore the goodness and
severity of God: on
them which fell, severity;
but toward thee, goodness, if
thou continue in [his] goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Romans 12:16 - 17
(KJV): Mind not high things:
[Be] of
the same mind
one toward another. Mind not high
things,
but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Recompense to no man evil for
evil . Provide
things honest in
the sight of all men.
1Timothy 6:17
(KJV): Be not higminded:
Charge them that are rich in
this world, that they be not
highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living
God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy
2Timothy
3 (KJV): from such turn away; for
"highminded"
is listed among "unholy" things:
This know also, that in the
last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers
of their own selves,
covetous, boasters,
proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,
fierce,
despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded,
lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a
form of godliness,
but denying the power thereof: from
such turn away.
What is highminded (high mindedness)?
Allegorically it is
lawminded (law mindead).
Highminded is often
simply defined as proud or haughty. But I noticed
both "proud" and "highminded" are listed among "unholy" things in
2Timothy 3 we're told to "from such turn away". This caused me to look
further into the allegoric
meaning of
"highminded". I found highminded is not only similar to double minded:
James 1:8 & 4:8, but it
also seems to describe left and right sides: division of plural
divided
heavens "on high", including
the new high priest standing at the
right
hand of GOD (LORD, Majesty) on high,
which is Law of Law
or Grace; Since His Grace is merciful only: Luke 6:36, not
both merciful and vengeful. The will of God oft stated
in OT & NT is I will have mercy, and not sacrifice; Which
is to allegory say: I will have grace, and not law, when studied out.
For in Matthew 9:13 it's notably given as a "go" learn
what Hosea 6:6 meaneth.
The Two Gods Allegory:
Law (God on high) and Grace (higher God):
Higher
God: Grace:
God our Father in heaven: higher
than the heavens: higher
God
on high: Law:
The Majesty in the plural divided L/R heavens on high: high
Be not highminded
x2:
Romans 11:20; 1Timothy 6:17. Mind not high
things: Romans 12:16.
Whosoever
of you are
justified by law (high); ye are fallen from grace (higher): Galatians
5:4.
For law vs law is as loser vs
loser; And grace
of laws vs grace is still division,
and not peace.
Peace is above the sides
wars of law vs law
and laws vs grace have side effects to both sides.
Christ is the
end of the law: thereby the end
of such law vs law and of laws vs grace divisions.
"Higher than the heavens" is "above" such
high
things are high mindedness
Above
this
L/R division (unrest) and not peace (rest) of the God & Son "on high" is "God our Father" in a
unified "heaven" above: "higher than
the heavens", which is obviously Grace. Galatians 5:4 notes
if justified by the law (on high), then you're fallen from
grace (higher)
to law (on high); And if fallen (bewitched) then Christ (is the end of
the law) is of no effect
to you. It's also noted
in Hebrews 10:31
that it's a fearful thing to fall (from grace to law) into the (plural)
"hands" of the
living God: Law. So if Law still be the living God instead dead testator:
Hebrews 9,
then it's perilous times: 2Timothy 3. But perilous times notably occur
in
"last days" (plural), not "last
day" (singular). It's now the
third day is the seventh day is the last
day.
Mind not high things: Romans 12:16
What are the "high" things we're told to
mind not?
- the BIGGIE is GOD on high; Called the LORD and Majesty on high
(the GOD
on high is
awful lawful;
And the day
of the
LORD is darkness, not light)
- another biggie is new high priest: Christ Jesus (reverse of JC): Heb 3
(Christ: the end
of law: glorified not himself
to be made an high priest: Heb 5:5)
- the
Passover Sabbath day:
which is called an high day:
John 19:31
(Let no man judge
you... in respect of an holyday of the
new moon: Col 2:16)
- sacrifice:
(slaughter, bloodshed) occurs in the high place: 1Samuel 9:2
(will of God to do prior to receive the
promise is I
will have mercy, and not sacrifice)
- punishment:
to the host
of the high ones that are on high: Isaiah 24:21
(we are delivered
from the law: Rom 7:6;
And thereby from wrath:
1Thess 1:10; 5:9)
- Bamah:
the high place whereunto ye(do err) go: Ezekiel 20:
28-31
(Bamah: high place
of idolatrous worship, polluted:
whoredom, abominations: laws)
- Divisions:
Law vs Law and Law vs Grace, which
occur in high places
(God is the author
of grace and peace[rest], not of confusion, nor of divisions[unrest])
- Captivity Captive: captured
again occurs from on high in
Ephesians 4:8
(objective isn't
captivity, but liberty: Isaiah 61:1 & deliverance to captives: Luke
4:18)
- Spiritual Wickedness: is what
occurs in high places in
Ephesians 6
(the law is
spiritual, but it's spiritual wickedness, spiritual abuse, spiritual perversion)
Be not highminded: Rather "from such
turn away"
Romans 11:20 ... 1Timothy 6:17 ... 2Timothy 3
High minded is similar to being puffed up with law knowledge, as if
being lion of Judah prideful, rather than being edified up and
exhorted up higher by charity:
grace knowledge. Of the two sorts of
knowlege to biblically compare and contrast: Law knowlege and Grace
knowledge, it's notably Law knowlege that is both "ready to vanish": Hebrews 8:13 and "shall
vanish":
1Corinthians 13:8. The reason charity(grace knowledge) never
faileth nor vanishes is because charity(grace) thinketh no evil(law).
Charity is also notably to be put on above forgiving one another by
law, for true forgiveness is only plausible by abolition of the law,
since law imputed sin also imputes unpardonable sin, and law is also
the strength of sin's death sting. So as long as highminded law is
given place, a high place, there'll continue to be sinners,
unpardonable sin both here and hereafter, and a death sting. Hence we
are exhorted to give no place to the devil(law), rather than to
struggle or wrestle with it and more often than not lose the battle.
Eg: I fought the law and the law won. It's better to flush law as dung
rather than fight it, which gives it strength, to apply a death sting
to you. Allegorically law is biblically "am I", and grace is "I am". So
it is allegorically Pauline written "when I am (grace) weak, then am I (law) strong". For law hind-ers
grace, makes it no more grace, rather grace + law ends bad, as bad as blessed
+ cursed = accursed, and as bad as life + death is as saved
+
destroyed after, which is as bad as life + death = dead end.
Wickedness is what occurs in high places in
Ephesians 6: 12
For we wrestle not against flesh
and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness
in high [places].
So then, be not highminded, mind not high
things, also speaks also of mind not wickedness: laws.
When a bible study is done about wickedness, it seems to
reveal the root of wickedness
is the law.
The grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ with
you all. Amen.
